Wk 8 — Art Activity — Student Choice, Part 1

(I know this is late, but there was a self project I completed in October with the same kind of planning used for this assignment)

1. Halloween is my favorite holiday, so I make it a point to DIY/make my costumes every year ((: This year I planned to be a Raiderette (cheerleader for the Las Vegas Raiders)
2. I wanted to be a Raiderette because I’m obviously a Raiders fan and I love how their uniforms look. I also like to have costumes I know I wouldn’t see on other people throughout the day.

3. The resources I needed were fabric(a sheer white kind), some kind of gems to sew on, some boots & white paint, and whatever else I happened to find while shopping.

4. At the time I was really really worried that I wouldn’t be able to find any white boots like those. Those kind of boots were sold out at a lot of places for other types of halloween costumes that needed them. I was also nervous about finding a good sheer material for the sleeves. I wasn’t sure if I’d actually be able to pull this look off .
