Week 3 — Art Activity — Drawing

  1. I think this week’s assignment was pretty fun. I wish I could’ve taken my time doing each one, but I’ve been swamped with homework and study guides. I definitely enjoyed the time I got to spend drawing despite the busy-ness.
  2. I think if I practiced any amount of hours, I’d get better. I consider drawing one of my talents, though I’ve never put enough time into it.
  3. My major is information systems and I’m not sure how drawing may be involved. Maybe it can be expressed through charts rather than images.
  4. Yes, drawings are definitely a language. I may not be good at expressing things through it, but there are many people out there who can. I’ve seen very powerful/meaningful drawings throughout my life to know that it’s definitely a way of communicating thoughts and feelings, especially when they’re not able to be put into words.
I actually finished the full drawing, but as I was looking through the progression pictures, this one caught my eye the most. I normally don’t fully finish my personal drawings all the way, so I feel like this is more my style.
